Previously she was Executive Dean for the Faculty of Business and Law at The Open University. She is Vice-President (academic) of EFMD and Deputy Chair of the Chartered Management Institute Malaysia.

Mathias is an Executive Strategy & Policy Advisor and a Professor of the Practice in Higher Education Management at Luiss Business School (Rome-Milan-Amsterdam), Luiss University, where he currently develops Executive Education programmes for university and business school managers. Mathias serves currently in different university advisory boards and is the Chair of the AACSB Responsible Management Education Affinity Group as well as the Chair of the Supervisory Board of the Positive Impact Rating. Previously, Mathias worked as Director of Business School Services at the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) in Brussels, Director of International Relations at IÉSEG School of Management in Paris & Lille, and Director of the International Summer University at the Free University in Berlin.
He started his career as a Program Officer at the North American headquarters of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in New York. Mathias earned his Doctor in Business Administration in Higher Education Management from the University of Bath where he is also a research fellow and post-doctoral graduate at the International Centre for Higher Education Management (ICHEM) at the School of Management, University of Bath, UK. He also has a B.A. and MSc in Business Communications from the University of Engineering and Economics (HTW) in Berlin.

Federica Brunetta: Federica Brunetta is Associate Professor of Management and Strategy. She teaches General Management, Strategy, Economics of Strategy and Business Transformation at Luiss Business School and at the Department of Business and Management of the Luiss University. She is Head of Executive Masters of Luiss Business School and Vice Director of the Research Centre in Strategic Change “Franco Fontana” of Luiss University.

At Luiss Business School she is also Scientific Director of the Flex MBA and of the Future Loading Major of the Executive Master in Advanced Management.

Her research interests are focused on the study of strategies in highly regulated environments, digitalization and business transformation, network analysis.

Her works are published, among others, in Organization Studies, Journal of Business Research, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Organizational Dynamics. She is the author of the book “Institutions, Markets and Organizations” published by McGrawHill and “New Organizational Forms, Controls, and Institutions. Understanding the Tensions in ‘Post-Bureaucratic’ Organization” edited by Palgrave. She has conducted research at national and international level, presenting her works in the main conferences. She is also active in several applied research projects on these themes. She received her PhD from the Università Cattolica, and was a Visiting Scholar at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. She also received the Distinguished Paper Award from the Business Policy and Strategy Division of the Academy of Management and the Luiss Research Excellence Award in 2024.

Matteo Giuliano Caroli is Full professor of International business management at Luiss Guido Carli. He was Associate Dean first for Education, then for Internationalization and since 2023 for Sustainability and Impact at Luiss Business School, where he is also Head of the Applied research and observatories area. On a scientific and professional level, he mainly deals with sustainable business management, strategic planning and ESG, internationalization processes.

Among his most recent publications: The impact of board of directors’ characteristics on the internationalization of family SMEs in: “Journal of World Business”; 2023. Organization and managerial roles in sustainable business management , Rubettino 2022. Economics and sustainable business management Mc Graw-Hill, 2021.

He has been and is a member of several Boards of Directors and Scientific Committees of large private and public companies and institutions.

He gained an extensive experience in international business consulting firms (Deloitte, KPMG) before joining to Luiss Business School. He has been working in executive education for 15 years, being responsible defining, designing, promoting, selling and managing executive education business management topics (General Management, Project Management, Organizational Design, HR Management, Accounting, Finance, Marketing & Communications, ICT Management).

With a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry, skilled in Analytical Skills, Strategy, Statistics, and Research. Strong education professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) focused in Management from Luiss Guido Carli University.

Rosaria Gimmelli is the Head of Quality, Accreditation and Ranking at Luiss Business School since 2022, after several years serving as Quality Officer. Her professional path has always been strongly rooted in quality assurance, with significant experience in academic development, accreditation processes, and performance monitoring.

She currently leads the School’s engagement in the AMBA accreditation process, coordinating both strategic and operational activities. She is also responsible for ranking-related initiatives across both Luiss University and Luiss Business School, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and objectives.

Rosaria holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science and has long been active in civic and social engagement. She is a member of ItaliaCamp, a network of young Italian professionals supporting innovation and inclusive growth.

Christian Lechner is Full Professor of Entrepreneurship and Director of the Department of Business and Management at Luiss University. Before joining Luiss, he held faculty positions at the Free university of Bolzano and Toulouse Business School in France.

He earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration from the LMU University of Munich (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich), an MBA from the University of Georgia, USA and a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Regensburg.

At the Free University of Bolzano he had launched and directed the PHD in Economics and Management and held responsibilities for the development of Technology Transfer, the Research Cluster in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

His research interests center around drivers of entrepreneurship and growth, entrepreneurial teams, heuristics, outliers and the interface between organizational design and performance. His research has been has been published in journals such as Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development and International Small Business Journal. He is Consulting Editor and Editorial Board Member International Small Business Journal.

He has been actively involved in developing entrepreneurship activities in the institutions previously served. Christian Lechner has launched and directed Master Programs in Entrepreneurship, the Incubator of Toulouse Business School, developed innovative financing instruments together with public administration (matching funds for business angel, young founders’ grants, …), served investment boards and acted as startup advisor in several firms.

Raffaele Oriani, Dean Luiss Business School and Full Professor of Corporate Finance.

During his academic career he has been Associate Dean for Faculty, Head of Custom & Consulting Programmes, Director of the Master in Business Administration (MBA) of the Luiss Business School and Director of Master of Science in Corporate Finance at Luiss University. He also serves as Advisory Board Member of the Southampton Business School.

He got his Ph.D. in Management from the University Bologna and has been visiting scholar at the Department of Economics of the University of California at Berkeley and at the Bank of Italy.

Experienced professor at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive level, he further teaches for many open and custom programmes and for the doctoral programmes.

His research key topics ranges from economics to finance and management, also publishing in primary international academic journals, including Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Industrial and Corporate Change, Advances in Strategic Management, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Research Policy, Scientometrics, Journal of Product Innovation Management, International Review of Financial Analysis, Strategic Organization.

Full Professor of Management and Associate Dean for Faculty, she is the Co-Director of the Part-Time MBA. Prior to joining Luiss Business School, she worked at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Ca’ Foscari University Venice. Alessandra has been a Dunning Fellow at the John H. Dunning Centre for International Business at Henley Business School. She is also Co-Editor-in-Chief of Industry & Innovation and serves in the Editorial Review Board of Global Strategy Journal.

Enzo Peruffo is Full Professor of Corporate Strategy and Dean of the Luiss Graduate School. He is Director of the Strategic Change “Franco Fontana” Research Center and of the Teaching & Learning Innovation Hub at Luiss Guido Carli. He has previously served as CEO and Scientific Director of Luiss Executive Management Education and as Associate Dean for Education & Partnership at Luiss Business School.

He has built international academic experience at institutions such as IE Business School, INSEAD, and Texas Christian University. He is the author of numerous publications in leading national and international journals, for which he has received several awards and recognitions. His research focuses on corporate strategy, governance, divestitures, family business, and innovation.

In recent years, he has also developed particular expertise in topics such as artificial intelligence and generative AI, business crisis prevention and management, and the effective governance of family-owned enterprises.

She directs both the captive and the external Flex Executive Programme in Digital Teaching for Learning. Twelve years of international managerial experience in a fast-paced, innovative working environment like Google. Experienced in digital, innovation, adult education, experiential learning, team and executive coaching, change management, strategy, and operations.

Alessia joined Luiss BS in 2021. As an Education officer she supports BUs in the process of design and re-design of their education offering. The office is central to many transversal activities, including the development of the T&L strategy and scouting and implementing new Edtech tools. As Education Officer she also supports the Associate Dean for Education in his role in the FOME Alliance.

Sara Bedusa is an experienced professional in project management and organization, with a focus on higher education and cultural activities. Currently, she is working as manager in the Business Development and Corporate Relations Unit, working closely with the corporate world, and focusing on reinforcing the involvement of the corporate partners in the courses. She leads a team of 4 business developers and works together with the business units to develop corporate programs and masters and to divulgate the business school training proposals through the corporate world. She has been also a team leader and coordinator in the Executive Education and MBA area, leading a team of project managers and supervising all the master’s and MBA programs within her area of expertise. She is also responsible for organizing networking and engagement activities, fostering connections and facilitating meaningful interactions. Previously, she held positions as a program manager in the Custom and Consulting department and head of the MBA department at Luiss Business School. She also has experience as a coordinator of educational and cultural activities at Richmond American University and at the China Pavilion at the Milan EXPO. Additionally, she worked as a head of educational activities at AIFS, contributing to cultural initiatives, and held roles as an events manager, translator, and supervisor for dubbing projects.

He received his doctorate in Business Organization in 2004. Since then, he has pursued an academic career, eventually earning the national habilitation of Associate Professor of Business Organization. He also directs training programs and projects at Luiss Business School, primarily in the social, health care, and development cooperation sectors. He was previously a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Has been working at Luiss Business School since 2009 and, currently, she is the team leader of the coordinators of the international Master’s programmes. A consistent part of her job is supporting the coordinators and overseeing that all procedures and requirements for the Master’s are met and fulfilled. Thus, her expertise regards mostly the international Master’s portfolio and, thanks to the years she spent as a coordinator herself, that of the Creative Industries. Moreover, she also works on benchmarking and content planning for new programmes.

She has been working at Luiss Business School since 2007: in the Business Development unit (2018-2020), and, previously, in the Public Administration & Healthcare area on training, consultancy, and applied research activities. She has been Research Fellow and Adjunct Professor of Business Organisation at Luiss Guido Carli, Department of Business and Management. She has been holder of integrated teaching contracts for the chairs of Business Strategies, Advanced Organisation Design, Business Organisation. She has obtained the Ph.D. in Management in 2012 and the Master’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration at Luiss. She has been Visiting Scholar at the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor, Michigan, US. She has obtained the license to practise the profession of Certified Public Accountant and Auditor. Her past work experience is in Managerial Consultancy at Ernst & Young Financial – Business Advisors S.p.A. She has experience in the management of complex projects and her areas of expertise are: management, business strategies, network, business organisation.

Giovanni Lo Storto is the General Manager of Luiss University, and the Acting General Manager and Board Member of Luiss Business School. He is also a Board Member of Pirelli & C., Banca Mediolanum, and the Mediterranean Foundation. He is a member of various committees including the Management Committee of Fondazione Italia Sociale, the Culture Technical Group of Confindustria, and the Scientific Committee of The Eurispes. He is a Co-founder of LuissEnlabs, a startup accelerator, and promoter of the first Italian chapter of The Network 42, a coding school.
He previously served as a Board Member of LA4G, investment club targeting startups, and of LuissX S.r.l. He was an expert member of the National Observatory for Teleworking, established at the Ministry for the Public Administration, and was also a member of the Commission for the appointment of the independent performance evaluation body of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
He was an army officer, an Operational Branch Manager at Bartolini, and an Analyst at Unione Italiana di Riassicurazione (renamed Swiss Re). He has been a guest lecturer in insurance management and economics at Luiss University. He served on various boards including doValue (formerly doBank), and has held positions such as Chair of the Risk Committee, Chair of the Nomination Committee, and member of the Remuneration Committee. He contributed to books including “Etica Digitale” (Luiss University Press, 2021), “Jugaad Innovation” (Rubbettino, 2014), “Frugal Innovation” (Rubbettino, 2016), and “EroStudente” (2017).

Andrea Prencipe is Professor of Organization and Innovation and since 2018 serves as Rector of Luiss University. Innovation is his preferred subject of research and teaching, as well as the principle inspiring his decisions and actions at Luiss. Under his academic leadership, the University’s ultimate goals have been: the enquiry-based educational approach (promoting students’ critical and creative thinking); multi- and inter-disciplinary degree programs; internationalization (fostering partnerships with relevant international institutions as well as double and triple degree programs). After reading Economics & Business at the University of Chieti-Pescara G. d’Annunzio, prof. Prencipe specialized in innovation studies and received an MA in Innovation Management from Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, an MSc in Technology and Innovation Management from SPRU (University of Sussex), and a PhD in Science and Technology Policy Studies from SPRU.
In 2016-2018 he served as Luiss’ Deputy Rector. Prior to that, he held academic positions at the University of Sussex, INSEAD, and University G. d’Annunzio, was Visiting Professor at the Rotterdam School of Management and BI Norwegian Business School, and Honorary Professor at the University of Sussex. He has been invited speaker at many international universities, including Harvard Business School, the University of Michigan, Oxford University, and taught courses on innovation at Solvay Business School and the National Economic University of Hanoi.
His works have been published on international journals such as Administrative Science Quarterly, Industrial and Corporate Change, Organization Science, California Management Review and with international publishers – e.g. Oxford University Press. He sits on the editorial board of Organization Science, International Journal of Project Management, and Research Policy. His work frequently appears on national and international newspapers (Corriere della Sera, Sole 24 Ore, Financial Times).

Maria Isabella Leone is an Associate Professor of Business Administration and Innovation Management at Luiss and Luiss Business School, where she is appointed as the Director of the MBA Business Unit, as the Scientific Coordinator of the Corporate MBA for Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, and as the Co-Director of the Executive Master in Open Innovation and Intellectual Property. She is the Luiss Unit Leader of the National Research Project Under40 (PRIN) on “Open Social Innovation for a Next Generation of Public Governance”. She collaborates with leading Italian companies on applied research projects and provides executive training for managers. Her research focuses on strategic management, intellectual property, and open innovation, topics on which she has published in top-tier international journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, R&D Management Journal, and Industrial and Corporate Change.

Silvia Ticolpe: HR Manager with over 15 years’ experience developed in a multinational firm as Talent Manager, in charge of Leadership Training, Recruitment and Development. Worked for more than 10 years in British American Tobacco, holding positions of increasing responsibility within the HR Team. During this period, she spent two years as Talent Acquisition Manager for the Western Europe HR Team in Amsterdam, in charge of the Graduate Programme for the 24 countries of the region. Background in Development Psychology, she currently covers the role of Head of Career Service in Luiss Business School, dealing with career counselling, soft skills training, career days and placement for 850 students per year.

Simona Maltese: Admission Team Coordinator in charge of the selection process for the Luiss Business School degree programs. Experienced professional track record, driven by a consolidated knowledge of lifelong learning projects promoted by both private universities and NGOs. Graduated in international relations at the university of Padua with a research thesis focused on freedom of speech in Turkey.

Maria Grazia Saccà has been MBA Team Leader since January 2024.

Previously, Executive Master since 2018 and Specialised Master Coordinator since 2013.

Current main duties: accountable for revenue and budget management and development of MBA programs with a focus on innovation in educational offerings; managing relationships with companies and other partners; handling any issues arising during the project in support of coordinators; coordinating with other departments and Business Units of the School.

Roberto Maglione is Professor of Practice HRM & Organization at Luiss Business School. Former Senior Consultant at: Mercer Italia (Marsh McLennan Group); Spencer Stuart (Worldwide Executive Search Company); he worked as a Global HR of the Groups: Finmeccanica – 75.000 people (today, Leonardo, Aerospace, Defense & Security); Telecom Italia – 116.000 people (today, TIM, TLC) and Olivetti – 17.000 people (ICT); HR Director during the startup of Sky Italia (Pay TV); Deputy Chairman of Olivetti-Tecnost. Former Deputy Chairman of Federmeccanica (Italian Metallurgical and Mechanical Employers Association) and Chairman of CEEMET (European Tech and Industry Employer Association). He has been Adjunct Professor at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan); Imperial College Business School (London); Scuola Superiore ISUFI (Lecce); Luiss University (Rome).

Matteo De Angelis is Full Professor of Marketing at Luiss University, where he teaches a variety of Bachelor and Master courses. He is Coordinator of the PhD in Management and Director of the Master in Marketing Management. He is the author of numerous scientific publications, many of which have appeared in highly prestigious international journals, on topics of consumer behavior, especially in relation to digital technologies, luxury and sustainability.

Before joining Luiss Business School, he was Associate Professor at the Amsterdam Business School, where he also acted as Deputy Head of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation section and co-founded the Entrepreneurship and Management in Creative Industries (EMCI) specialization in the MSc in Business Administration. He teaches entrepreneurship, business models, strategic management, creative leadership, and creative industries. His main research interests are entrepreneurship, social networks, and organization. He studies this mostly in the context of creative industries and new ventures. He published in academic journals that include Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Organization Studies, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Strategic Organization, Human Relations, European Management Review, and Journal of Cultural Economics. Joris was a visiting scholar at New York University Stern School of Business, Bayes (formerly Cass) Business School London, University of Bologna, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and Freie Universität Berlin. Finally, he is a member of the editorial board of Journal of Business Venturing.

Cecilia Jona-Lasinio is Full Professor of applied economics at Luiss Business School, and serves as Senior Economic Advisor at the OECD where she coordinates a joint OECD-Italian Ministry project on economic development and reforms. A 2023 NBER Fellow, her research focuses on intangibles, ICT, and productivity growth. Key areas include the digital economy, innovation, and global value chains. She leverages extensive experience from past roles (ISTAT) and consulting international bodies. An Indigo Prize co-winner (2017) for improving GDP measurement, she holds a PhD in Econometrics.

Professor of Practice Human resource management, Director of the Executive Master in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Administration (Rome and Amsterdam) and Sviluppo Manageriale (Milan). In the past 25 years I have worked for a wide range of multinationals, like Johnson and Johnson EMA regione and I am now Senior Client Partner at Chaberton Partners Beside my career in industry I have also acquired experience in academia working for an Italian Business School – ISTUD – as Chief Knowledge Officer, as Research Lead and as Member of the HR Faculty. Over the years I have authored many studies within the area of learning, problem solving, transactional analysis, leadership, change management, mergers, and acquisitions.
My recent research interests are in the field of applied neurosciences, technology-enhanced reflective learning and their possible contributions to organizational design and strategy development. After gaining an MSc in Organizational Psychology with a degree in Philosophy, since 2010 I have enrolled in doctoral program in E-Research and Technology Enhanced Learning at Lancaster University in UK.

She is an internationally recognized thought leader in the transformative space of sustainability and responsibility. She teaches, consults, speaks and is active on boards. Until 2018 she helped transform Business School Lausanne, where she acted as Dean from 2008-2015. From 2010 onwards, she led BSL’s research activities in sustainability and responsibility related transformation of business and leadership. Prior, she worked in strategy and general management functions accumulating two decades of international experience at ALCOA (United States, Russia), IAMS Europe – Procter & Gamble (the Netherlands), Schindler Lifts (Australia and Switzerland) and Yupango (Switzerland).

Marco Francesco Mazzù is Professor of Practice at Luiss Business School, where he teaches Marketing in Master’s degree courses at the Department of Business and Management, and in various first and second level Master’s programs and Executive courses at the Luiss Business School.

He is Director of several programs and Master’s degrees at the Luiss Business School and of the Knowledge Transfer Unit of the Luiss X.ITE research center on behavior and technology. In the past, at the same university, he headed the International Orientation, focused on attracting international students, displaying for seven years in a row a double-digit growth of international students.

He is currently a member of the board of directors and the nomination and remuneration committees of listed companies (Aeffe S.p.A. and Sanlorenzo S.p.A.).

During his career, he has worked in marketing at Procter & Gamble, IBM, and Fincantieri, and as a consultant to parliamentary committees and government agencies.

He also spent 14 years at McKinsey, where he became a partner in 2008 and worked with leading international companies in their respective sectors, with projects and experience in over 20 countries, gaining significant experience in both mature and emerging markets, in context of rapid transformation and ongoing business. He was also a member of the leadership group for Sales & Marketing, Consumer Goods, Fashion & Luxury, and Automotive, accumulating in-depth functional expertise in marketing, sales, and retail, applied in multiple sectors and areas (from commercial and marketing policies to local and global strategies).

Married with two children, he holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from La Sapienza University, an MBA from INSEAD, and a PhD in Economics, Management & Statistics from the University of Messina. He also holds the National Scientific Qualification, Sector 13/B2, “Economics and Business Management”. He is currently engaged in scientific research on topics related to consumer behavior and decision-making, strategic marketing, and communication, and has published in internationally renowned journals.

Tony Glen Silard, Ph.D., is a professor of leadership and the Director of the Center for Sustainable Leadership at Luiss Business School in Rome. He is also the CEO of The Global Leadership Institute and the President of The Center for Social Leadership. Tony holds a Ph.D. in leadership from IESE Business School, which he received with First-Class/Excellent Distinction. He also holds a Master’s in Public Policy focused on leadership from Harvard University and has received two of Harvard’s most prestigious awards, the Robert F. Kennedy Public Service Award and the Manuel Carballo Memorial Award. His leadership programs have helped thousands of people in over 40 countries to create positive, breakthrough personal and social changes in their lives and the lives of others.

Tony has been published in seven countries and six languages. His latest book is Screened In: The Art of Living Free in the Digital Age.

In addition to teaching at Luiss Business School, Tony has taught leadership at various universities around the world, including IESE Business School, Claremont McKenna College, California State University San Bernardino, the Monterrey Institute of Technology, INCAE Business School, and the International University of Catalonia and has lectured on leadership at Harvard, Stanford, Georgetown, the University of California at Berkeley, George Washington University, Cal Poly Pomona, and ESADE Business School.

Tony has received numerous awards for his work, including Harvard’s Robert F. Kennedy Public Service Award, was named Visionary of the Year by the PBS series The Visionaries, and was featured at the Presidential Summit for America’s Future and America’s Promise.

On numerous occasions, Tony has been the primary instructor for a national leadership program in Washington D.C. co-taught by professors from Oxford University’s Said School of Business, Yale University’s School of Management, Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, Harvard Business School, Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and Harvard’s JFK School of Government.

Samuel A. Vigne is Professor of Finance. Previously, he was an Associate Professor with Trinity College Dublin. He obtained his PhD in Finance from Trinity College, Dublin, an MSc Finance (University of Dublin), a PGCHET (Queen’s University), and a BSc in Business Economics (Universität Mannheim). His research interests include econometric modelling, international finance, and corporate finance. His research is widely published in leading academic outlets, such as, amongst others, the Journal of Corporate Finance and the European Journal of Operational Research. Furthermore, Professor Vigne serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Elsevier’s Finance Research Letters, one of the leading academic finance journals in the world, which is ranked as the number 1 journal by impact worldwide. Professor Vigne also serves as Associate Editor for the International Review of Financial Analysis, the Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money, and Research in International Business and Finance, amongst other academic outlets. Furthermore, Professor Vigne is a consultant for the Association of the Independent Professionals and the Self Employed and develops policy recommendations for HM Government, the Bank of England, and the Government of India. A recognised exemplar in the profession, Professor Vigne is the recipient of multiple teaching awards and received a national level award for his services during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Adjunct professor Luiss Business School. Top-rated marketing executive with broad international experience in strategy, innovation, consumer understanding, omni-channel communication, brand management and leadership across multiple categories (food and beverage, FMCG, fashion and sportswear, health tech), geographies (local, regional, and global), with a track record of strong business results and wide people management experience.

Physician with deep medical and research knowledge and over 25 years of international clinical experience in med-tech and pharma companies with global footprint. She played roles of increasing responsibility in clinical affairs (and more recently in regulatory affairs too), contributing to the development of new therapies, from early phase to commercialization. She graduated in medicine cum laude at the University of Padua and practiced medicine at the Institute of Internal Medicine of the university hospital of Padua and in the field. She specialized in geriatrics cum laude and completed a Ph.D. that served as bridge to the research world in the pharmaceutical industry. Regina Corradini d’Arienzo is CEO and General Manager of Simest Spa since July 2022. She joined Terna’s Board of Directors on 9 May 2023. Prior to this, she had worked for BNL since 2013, where she held various positions including North-west Regional Corporate Manager and Corporate Banking Division Manager. She is a member of the G100 of BNP Paribas and a member of the Cash Management Governance Board and the Trade Finance Strategic Board of BNP Paribas Group and has held several roles in other companies within the BNP Paribas Group, including directorships at Arval SpA, Vice-Chairwoman of Ifitalia SpA and Chairwoman of BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions SpA.

Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Terna since 9 May 2023. Between April 2020 and May 2023, she was CEO and Vice President of Nokia Italia, a company with over 100 years of experience producing telecommunications devices, providing telecommunications services, and researching and developing optical networks, microwave technology and artificial intelligence. Appointed as a Cavaliere del Lavoro [Knight of Labour] of the Italian Republic in 2021 for her commitment to Information and Communication Technologies, in the same year, she was named by Forbes Italia one of 100 women united by leadership and creativity distinguished for their commitment, tenacity and skill. Furthermore, she was recognised at the CEO Italian Awards 2021 as CEO of the year in the TLC category. In 2022, she received the Margutta Prize, a symbol of creativity and intellectual productivity in the entrepreneurial sector.

Annarita Egidi joined Takeda Italia management team in 2013. As Market Access Director, she built a successful team in charge of National and Regional Market Access, P&R, Health Economics and Tenders (Oncology, inflammation and specialty care portfolio). Egidi led for 3 years the Oncology Division within TAKEDA ITALIA and part of TAKEDA Oncology Global Business Unit managing with my team a growing portfolio in lymphoma, myeloma, prostate, breast and lung cancer. Currently she is honored to be the General Manager of Takeda Italia.

Stefano Stinchi is Head of Microsoft Italy’s Public Administration Unit in the subsidiary’s Leadership Team. Strong sales professional skilled in IT Strategy, Management, Pre-sales, Business Intelligence, and Business Development, Stinchi leads all the activities that the company carries out with Government agencies helping, together with his team, the Italian Public Administration in the digital transformation process. After a 20-year experience in IBM, Stefano Stinchi brought his skills and experience in Sales Management to different market segments. Previously, he served as Enterprise Commercial Financial Services ATU where he led the move to the cloud of Italy’s largest financial institutions.

He began his career at Fiat Avio S.p.A. in 1988 where he held various positions of responsibility for 13 years. In 1997 he began to get involved in the energy sector developing new initiatives in Italy, India and Brazil and later combined all the electricity generation activities for the Fiat Group at Fiat Energia (where he was CEO until 2002), the vehicle through which the Fiat Group acquired control of Montedison in July 2001.
From 2014 to 2016 he was Chief Executive Officer of Grandi Stazioni, and finalised its privatisation. Previously (2011 – 2014) he was firstly General Manager and then CEO of Acea S.p.A. one of the leading Italian multi-utility companies, listed on the Milan stock exchange.
From 2002 to 2011 he was part of the Edison Group, first as Director of Strategy and Innovation and later (2003 – 2011) as General Manager and then CEO of Edipower. In August 2016 Paolo Gallo was appointed General Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Italgas.

Antonio Liotti gained significant experience within the then Finmeccanica Group, now Leonardo: he joined Alenia Aeronautica in 2004 and held the positions of HR Manager of several production sites, Business Units and Subsidiaries (Alenia Aeronavali, Alenia Improvement), as well as Head of Industrial Relations. In 2016, at the birth of the new One Company Leonardo, he assumed the role of Head of Human Resources and Organization of the Aerostructures Division and in 2017 also of the Aircraft Division. In 2018, he became Head of Training, Management and Human Resources Development of Leonardo Corporate, and then assumed the position of Group HR Manager in 2019. Since November 2021, he has been Leonardo’s Chief People & Organization Officer.

Silvia Marinari is Chief Human Resources Officer at Tinexta since 2021. She has around 30 years of experience in Human Resources Management in different sectors and both Italian and multinational firms. Throughout her career, she worked for Terna, AgustaWestland, Selex Elsag, Marconi, Pirelli, Recordati and Accenture, managing the responsibility of all the HR leads for the realization of Strategic Plan and business transformation processes.
In particular, she has managed extraordinary operations of efficiency of resources and related costs, as well as development and strengthening processes to allow for the evolution of the skills in line with technological and market evolution. She has been member of Board of Directors of Banca del Mezzogiorno – Medio Credito Centrale and Poste Tutela.

Since November 2022, Marcella Panucci has been Chief of Cabinet to the Italian Ministry of University and Research. In 1998 she worked at the Directorate General for Competition of the European Commission. From November 2011 to July 2012 she was Chief of the Technical Secretariat and Economic Adviser to Minister of Justice and from February 2021 to October 2022 she was Chief of the Cabinet of the Minister for Public Administration. From 2012 to 2020, she was a Member of the Corporate Governance Committee of Borsa Italiana and a member of the Board of Directors of Sole 24ore.
She is currently a member of the Board of the Reform for Resiliency Commission, a Supervisory Board Member of Human Technopole, a member of the Management Committee of the National School of Administration (SNA), and a member of the Board of Directors of the Cotec Foundation.

Adalberto Pellegrino has been chief financial officer of Rai Way since September 2014, appointed as part of the IPO process that was successfully concluded in November 2014. Before joining Rai Way he was director of Rai, where he moved in August 2012 to work first as deputy head, and then as chief of staff for the general manager of Rai, supervising cross-functional teams and coordinating the activities of all the departments and the subsidiaries of the Group to ensure delivery of key projects.
From September 2009 to July 2012 he was responsible for business development at Wind Telecomunicazioni, with the task of identifying and implementing M&A opportunities and special projects.
From September 2007 to August 2009 he worked at Orascom Telecom/Weather Investments in Paris as a corporate finance manager with the responsibility of managing projects related to the financing and M&A activities of the holding and of the group’s subsidiaries. From 2000 to 2007 he worked in Wind Telecomunicazioni within the Financial Division, where in 2004 he was appointed executive responsible for corporate financial planning. From 1998 to 2000 he worked as a consultant at Unionsim. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Spal TLC, a company operating in the mobile phone and telecommunications distribution market, and a member of the Supervisory Board of Euronews, an information television channel published by the main European broadcasters.

Alessandra Ricci has been CEO and General Manager of SACE since May 2022. She began her career in 1995 at Mediocredito Centrale, holding managerial positions for 10 years in the project financing sector for international projects in Europe and emerging markets. In 2005 she joined SACE, the insurance-financial company specialized in supporting the competitiveness of Italian companies controlled by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, where she took on positions of increasing responsibility until becoming first its Chief Business Officer and then its Chief Marketing & Underwriting Officer.
From 2017 to 2020, Alessandra Ricci served as CEO of SIMEST, a financial company that supports the internationalization of Italian companies’ activities, controlled by SACE from 2016 to 2022. In 2020, she returned to SACE to develop programs related to SACE’s new mandates in the domestic market, becoming in 2021 Head of the Italian Guarantee Program – the emergency instrument supporting the liquidity of Italian companies – and Green New Deal – supporting the country’s ecological transition.

Marco is Chief Strategy Officer, Economic Advisory Leader and M&A Coordinator for Deloitte Italy of the industry “Life Science & Health Care” with primary clients such as Pfizer, Sanofi, MSD, Merck Serono, Sigma Tau, etc. Before joining Deloitte, he began his professional activity in Fiat Avio S.p.A., as an aerospace designer. He then continued his experience in ENI Group, where he worked for about six years in the Strategic Planning department of the company Agip Petroli S.p.A.. As a Strategic Development Project Manager, in ENI In addition, Marco Vulpiani took part in the IPO process of ENI Group, as a member of the workgroup responsible during every steps of the privatization process.
In 1999 he joined Deloitte, as a manager in the Corporate Finance area. As a Director and then Partner, he has been responsible for numerous advisory projects, including Business Valuation, Impairment Test Purchase Price Allocation (“PPA”), Fairness Opinions, Business Planning, Valuation for Reporting, PPP, Financial Modeling, M&A transactions, among others.

Luca Olivari is currently Adjunct Professor at the LUISS Business School in Rome and Head of the Open Consulting Unit. He has over 20 years of experience in management consulting working mainly in organizational transformation projects, corporate turnaround and development of human capital skills in different sectors and in all the main geographical areas (in his career he has worked in over 20 countries).
Luca Olivari began his consulting experience in Andersen Consulting in 1995, moving to A.T. Kearney in 1999 where for more than a decade he led the Organization and the Practice of Transformation first in Italy and then in the Middle East.

In the past he was a Director at PwC and EY, focused on Telecommunications, Media and Technology industries and he led the TMT Transformation consulting practice at PwC.

Cristiano Busco, Ph.D from Manchester Business School (UK), is Full Professor of Accounting, Reporting and Sustainability at Luiss Business School, where he serves as Head of Consulting Unit (since January 2024), and Head of Global Engagement (since February 2025). He is also the Director of the Full Time MBA. Previously, he led the Custom Programs Unit (2022 -2024).

With more than 20 years of experience in higher education, Cristiano has held various positions in the US (University of Southern California, Los Angeles, and Babson College, Boston), the UK (University College London, Manchester Business School), Ireland (National University of Ireland, Galway) and Italy (University of Siena).

Cristiano teaches Management Accounting, Performance Management and Reporting, as well as Corporate Sustainability courses at Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Executive level. He is Faculty Member of the LUISS PhD Program in Management from 2014.

Valeria Pardossi is Professor of Practice at Luiss Business School and Program Director of the MBA Part-Time – Major Milan since 2018. Responsible for the Soft Skill Lab of the Executive MBA Major Rome.

She has worked in three main sectors: Telecommunications, Automotive, and Consulting, always with a transformative approach.

She held the role of HR Director at EY for the Italy, Spain, and Portugal area, where she designed and implemented the new HR strategy and organizational model for the firm.

At Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, she served as Head of Development Manager, responsible for designing and implementing key Organizational Development processes such as Performance Appraisal and Succession Planning for the entire FCA Group (Fiat, CNH, Iveco, Ferrari, Marelli). She also served as HR Business Partner EMEA for the Fiat brands (Fiat, Lancia, Alfa Romeo) and managed the Fiat-Chrysler merger in the EMEA region. At CNH, she was responsible for Learning in the EMEA area.

At Vodafone, she worked as an HR Business Partner, responsible for People Development and Internal Mobility.

As an independent consultant, she has supported start-ups in scale-up processes by designing the cultural and organizational environment and assisting in its implementation. She also designs and supports organizational development and training platforms for medium and large companies.

As a Chief of Staff she serves as a reference point for the Dean and the senior management team while also acting as Faculty Management Officer. Silvia Dello Russo, PhD in Organizational Psychology, is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management at Luiss Guido Carli University and Associate Dean for Research at Luiss Business School. She previously held academic positions at ISCTE-IUL (Lisbon, Portugal) and TBS Education (Toulouse, France) besides gaining further academic experience through visiting research fellowships or lectureship abroad (at Rotman School of Management, Toronto, Canada; Aston Business School, Birmingham, UK; Catholic University of Rome, Italy; WU, Vienna, Austria; IAE Lyon School of Management/Université Lyon III Jean Moulin, Lyon, France).

Her research interests include HRM practices for individual development (performance management and feedback; coaching; career management), work motivation along the life span, and the interaction between an individual and the organizational context (structural, physical, task and, mostly, the social context). These three main areas are also often intertwined. Her research has been funded by FCT (Portugal), SIOP Foundation (USA) and PRIN (Italy) and was published in such journals as Human Relations, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Human Resource Management, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Journal.  She was elected as Representative at Large for the Career Division of the Academy of Management (AoM; 2020-2023) and is currently co-chair of the Human Resource Management track of the European Academy of Management (EURAM).

Dr Fabian Homberg is Associate Professor of Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour at Luiss Business School. His current research interests are public service motivation and incentives in private and public sector organizations. He has also been involved in research projects on top management team diversity, motivation, and recently small-scale corruption. Among others his research has appeared in Organization Studies, Group and Organization Management, Public Administration Review, Public Administration, Journal of Business Ethics, International Journal of Manpower, American Review of Public Administration and Journal of Management and Governance.
He holds a doctorate from the University of Zurich, Switzerland. He has won several grants including funding from the Swiss National Science Foundation, the British Academy and the UK Intellectual Property Office.

Flavio Caruso is the Chief Financial Officer at Sandoz, Novartis division, global leader in generic pharmaceuticals. In his 15 years’ experience he had increasing responsibilities in Finance & Management positions of Multinational Companies such as Barilla, LVMH, Bialetti e Whirpool EMEA and in different industries: Luxury, FMCG and Pharma. Flavio was the Financial Planning & Analysis Director of MSD Italy. He graduated in Business Administration with a major in corporate finance at La Sapienza University in Rome and he teaches Financial Planning at MBA. He is an adjunct professor at Luiss Business School.

Irene Finocchi is a Professor of Computer Science at Luiss University since February 2020. Before joining Luiss, she was Associate Professor at Sapienza University of Rome, research assistant at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and visiting researcher at IT University of Copenhagen, University of Nevada, and AT&T Research Laboratories.  Her research interests are mostly in big data analytics, working at the intersection of algorithmics and programming languages. Besides top-notch conferences, her papers have appeared in journals such as ACM Transactions on Programming Languages and Systems, ACM Transactions on Algorithms, ACM Journal on Experimental Algorithms, ACM Computing Surveys, Algorithmica, and IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering.

She is Associate Editor of the ACM Journal on Experimental Algorithms since 2014 and member of the Editorial Board of the journal Data since 2021. She has been chairing and has served on the Steering and Program Committee of many major conferences in the fields of programming languages, systems, and algorithms. She is a co-winner of a Distinguished Paper Award at the 26th ACM SIGPLAN Conference on Object-Oriented Programming, Systems, Languages, and Applications, and has received several best-paper invitations to journal special issues and handbook chapters.

Over the years, her teaching activities have spanned a variety of topics (algorithms and data structures, big data systems, parallel computing, introductory and advanced programming) and different levels of the curriculum, ranging from informative talks in secondary schools to advanced PhD and Master courses.

Martina Fontanarosa serves as Internationalization/Global Engagement Team Leader at Luiss Business School, bringing over seven years of progressive experience in higher education administration. In her current role, she oversees international partnerships, mobility programs, and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the School’s global presence. Prior to this, she held the position of Operations, Recruitment and Programs Manager at the Amsterdam Hub of Luiss Business School, where she moved for a two-year secondment to set-up operations in lines with the headquarters’ requirements and standards, and contribute to the development of the School’s first international Hub. She began her career at Luiss in the Admissions Office and Organizational Secretariat, where she was responsible for credentials evaluation and was involved in the organizational support for the academic career of Degree students.

Francesco Chiurco is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in Communications, Marketing, Institutional Affairs, and Stakeholder Engagement. After a long and impactful career at BNL BNP Paribas, he joined Luiss Business School in 2023.

As Head of Stakeholder Engagement, Francesco leads strategies for communication, external relations, and alumni engagement, building strong institutional connections and enhancing the school’s reputation. Since January 2025, he has been assigned interim responsibility for Marketing, expanding his strategic role to include the coordination of the School’s positioning and outreach initiatives.

During his time at BNL, he played a pivotal role in media relations, reputation management, and crisis communication—helping to shape the bank’s public image during major acquisitions and corporate transformations. He also worked closely with the Marketing division on the development of both institutional campaigns aimed at strengthening brand awareness and commercial campaigns supporting the bank’s products.

He is deeply committed to fostering collaborative cultures and developing impactful CSR initiatives. Francesco recently completed the Board Academy program at Luiss Business School, deepening his expertise in corporate governance, board dynamics, and the role of directors in complex organizations. Antonella Cremato has an academic background in International Politics & Economics, holding a Master’s degree from the University Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna. With international experience in Greece, where she studied and worked, she is fluent in English and French. Her previous roles include program management in the Higher Education Industry (Open & Custom Business Unit) and consultancy in EU project design and funding.

Flavia Mirabelli, 30 years of experience in the field of Human Resources, services and manufacturing, within organizations with a strong international vocation.
At the head of the Human Resources function, in large Italian companies and international start-ups (Alitalia, Alitalia Cargo, Cargoitalia), she covered top roles in multinational companies (Bombardier Transportation, Piaggio Aerospace – Mubadala Group), working from Italy, Germany or Switzerland, with global responsibility for the function.Her experience in international contexts leads her to focus on the themes of Diversity and Talent Management, making her work very effective in Change Management and Organizational Development. From 2020he is Human Capital Executive for a Northern European Private Equity Fund specialized in investments in companies with high rates of innovation and environmental sensitivity. He is also Human Resources Senior Advisor for a leading international consulting firm.Guest Speaker in Master Classes and in numerous Conferences and Congresses in Italy and abroad, she has collaborated with his writings to several publications on Talent Management and Organizational Behavior.

Giulia D’Asta is an Education & Research Officer at Luiss Business School. Her role mainly focuses on educational innovation, particularly the integration of EdTech and AI tools in teaching and learning. She also assists in research-related activities, such as evaluating the academic contributions of Luiss Business Schoool’s Faculty for the annual allocation of funds and incentives.

Martina Binacci is Head of Education & Partnership at Luiss Business School since 2023.
